Our History by the firms founder
In 1969 I graduated from the last class of Oklahoma City's Douglass High School in which the students had been de facto segregated from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I attended college at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and graduated in the top 1% of my class, while also working fifty-five hours per week to help pay for my college expenses and while serving as the executive officer of my ROTC battalion. Upon graduation, I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. Read more
The Firm what we do
A 1976 graduate of Harvard Law School, the Alexander firm's principal Robert H. Alexander, Jr. has more than 25 years of courtroom experience as a trial lawyer. The Alexander firm's practice focuses regionally and nationally on the defense of Fortune 500 clientele against complex product liability claims. These matters include claims against pharmaceutical manufacturers in which entire product lines are under attack and the cases are involved in multi-district litigation (MDL) proceedings or involve large coordinated numbers of state cases. The Law Office of Robert H. Alexander, Jr., p.c. has established a $100,000.00 endowment to be used for minority law student scholarships at the University Of Oklahoma College of Law in honor of former Harvard Law School vice dean William L. Bruce (HLS '51). This endowment makes the Alexander firm by far the largest single sponsor of minority legal scholarships at Oklahoma's largest law school. The Alexander law firm will also annually hire and mentor two OU law students as legal interns for the firm, which defends Fortune 500 companies against product liability claims throughout the United States.
